Sunita Williams Returns to Earth After 9 Months in Space

Sunita Williams safely landed after an extended nine-month stay aboard the International Space Station

Originally planned for a shorter trip, her return was delayed due to technical issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft.

Williams played a vital role in conducting scientific experiments, spacewalks, and station maintenance.

She and fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore landed in a SpaceX Dragon capsule off the Florida coast.

After months in microgravity, Williams is undergoing rehabilitation to adapt back to Earth’s gravity.
